Gravel Price Factors

When determining what type of gravel needed for the project, discuss the various types with a professional to choose the right gravel. Shop around and locate the best prices for the gravel you are needed. Remember to also figure in the delivery cost of your gravel. It must be delivered by dump truck to your location and there will be delivery fees associated with the price.  You will find more often than not that with delivery fees included, the closest quarries will be the cheapest priced because the delivery is less. In most areas river run gravel and creek gravel will be the cheapest available. Crushed stone and plateau gravel tend to be higher priced.
